Course Description
Gain a basic understanding of industry issues and key areas such as account management, research, strategy, creative, media and production.

For: Newcomers to the industry seeking an overview of the advertising process, from either the agency or advertiser; Brand Managers, Account Coordinators/Executives, Planning or Media Assistants or new Creatives, Print or TV Production Assistants.

Martin Salkild 2009
Martin Salkild

After starting his career in radar design, Martin saw the light and moved into advertising with FCB London after completing a Masters in Management Studies majoring in Marketing.

From there it was Australia ahoy to work in account management with FCB, DMB&B, Y&R, George Patterson and most recently Morris & Partners where Martin helped found the agency and run the Land Rover account.

Martin now runs a creative and film production group specialising in the travel and property development industries. Martin also lectures on the Masters of Marketing at UNSW.
